I became curious about the existence of guardian angels. I'm a christian so I do believe there are angels, but didn't know about their position here on Earth. So, I did a little bit of researching on the internet. First off, its widely known that babies/toddlers and some animals can see spiritual presences. I found an example from a site of author that worked in a children's chaplain.
"One of my favorite children, a
4-year-old who died of cancer, would ask every- one to leave his room
so he could be alone with “her.” When we asked who “she” was, he would
simply shake his head and say, “Her — I just want to be alone with her.
I love her.” On the night he died, he asked everyone to leave his room
again so he could be alone with “her.” He died moments later."
Furthermore, angels are entities from God that are supposedly assigned to every single human being from birth to the moment of death. They are not allowed to interfere unless there is a life threatening situation. Though you can communicate with your angels (if your being sincere and listen closely) though some random girl or guy is not going to pop out of nowhere and be like "Yes, dude you should totally marry Lisa." Your replies are most likely going to be tangible. Like an event or seeing something the next day that leads to your question.
I kept on researching about them and came across a guy on Yahoo! answers who asked if guardian angels had to ability to fall in love. He said he was serious when he said he has actually SEEN his angel and felt something cold on his lips, like trying to kiss him. He puts down the option that it could be some sort of evil spirit because its protecting him. I think that that's absurd. Guardian Angels don't reveal themselves like that. I'm not sure about my stance on ghosts, but that probably was one. Guardian Angels' presences also can be felt, like a warm or calming sensation.
There are numerous accounts of their angels protecting them. They can be easily found on search engines like google. AND, supposedly its possible to figure out your angels name. I read on one site that to try to communicate you just speak loud and clearly to it, asking for assistance. This website: http://www.viloria.com/viloria/adi/guardian.shtml is where you can type in personal info like DOB and find out the name, but each angel can be unique in terms of name and be something completely different. I've heard you can ask and somehow get an answer (audio or tangible, though i dont think i believe i'll hear a voice because i'd think i was going crazy). I'm still a little skeptical about the whole idea, but if I get an answer from "my angel" I'll let you know. ;)
